It's hard to say one party is actually better than the other when they both seem to do such a lousy job when they have the power. When either party has control, they drag the country further in debt, just because they would rather try to get re-elected than actually help this country. Both sides theoretically have ideals that I agree with, but it seems like they when it comes down to it, they either implement them in the wrong way where people's freedoms are affected, or they just have someone else's interests in mind (lobbyists). It's disheartening when over and over you are just picking the lesser evil when you vote. So both sides have ideals that I would agree with, but they are just that.
